In 2021 Natalie started her florist journey as a novice freelancer for her friend’s floral company, Floriography VA.

As an artistic individual who at the time had a limited creative outlet, Natalie instantly fell in love with the floral industry. Growing up, her passions were theater and ceramics. The experience of working as a wedding events florist reminds her both of what it felt like to be a part of a live theater production and how magical it feels to be able to create things with her own two hands.

While Natalie is still affiliated with Floriography VA as a Lead Designer and Event-Lead, she has decided to branch out and start her own company, With Love and Light LLC. Here, Natalie aims to expand outside the wedding space and into other realms of life’s cycles like special holidays, end of life ceremonies, birthdays, baby showers, holiday parties, graduations, anniversaries, small events, and other creative projects. In addition to floral services, With Love and Light LLC offers event coordination, organization services, and sells second hand clothing/home goods.

With a Bachelors in Health Psychology, a Minor in Well-Being, and a Masters in Social Entrepreneurship, Natalie strives for ethical business practices with an emphasis on sustainability, community kickback, and business to business relationships. Natalie strives to support local by featuring local artists work and utilizing local vendors and products whenever possible. Natalie is always looking for more opportunities to connect with her community, so please reach out if you have any ideas!

One day With Love and Light LLC hopes to expand into the non-profit sector where it aims to enhance the well-being of communities through meditation, community gardening, and volunteerism. With Love and Light believes that if you start small but dream big, you can change lives.
